The Commonwealth Orchestra has been established to create professional performance opportunities for the graduates and alumni of the Commonwealth Youth Orchestra and for other young professional musicians from across the Commonwealth.
The Commonwealth Orchestra has the same trans-Commonwealth and trans-racial make-up as the Commonwealth Youth Orchestra & Choir and it shares the same mission:
The Commonwealth Orchestra provides professional platforms and recording projects throughout all 53 countries of the Commonwealth.
Commonwealth musicians aged 22 years old and above may apply.
